Where Can Singapore Students Find Australian Confirmation of Enrolment Information?

Start with Australia’s Department of Home Affairs student-visa application checklist. It tells applicants to upload a current Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) to ImmiAccount and to use the official Document Checklist tool for the evidence required in their circumstances.

The Document Checklist tool states that, unless a listed special category applies, evidence of intended study must include a CoE for every intended course. Ask the registered provider to explain any missing, replaced or cancelled CoE before lodging.

Did you know an offer letter, a CoE and a visa grant are different records? The provider handles admission and enrolment, while Home Affairs decides the visa. A current CoE supports the application; it does not guarantee immigration approval or replace the rest of the evidence.

What should I check before uploading a CoE?

Confirm the provider and course first

Use the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) to check the provider and course independently. A marketing page or offer email is not the register. Match the registered provider, course, location and study plan to the place you accepted.

Our CRICOS source guide explains that check. If the planned course or provider differs from the CoE, pause and ask the provider which record reflects the current enrolment.

Match the CoE to the applicant

Compare the student’s name and date of birth with the passport and check the provider, course title, course dates and any package sequence shown. Home Affairs specifically warns applicants to spell the name correctly and match the passport details in the visa application.

For packaged study, the Document Checklist tool says a CoE is normally needed for each intended course. Keep the current versions together and do not upload a cancelled or superseded record simply because its dates look familiar.

Use the live evidence checklist

The required evidence can change with the applicant, provider and circumstances. Run the official Document Checklist tool near the time of application, then follow the instructions shown for identity, genuine-student evidence, English ability, finances and any under-18 welfare arrangements.

A CoE does not answer the Genuine Student questions. Use our Genuine Student requirement guide for that separate source, and use the provider for course-specific facts.

Keep ImmiAccount messages separate

Upload the CoE through the application’s own document fields and monitor ImmiAccount for correspondence. Home Affairs uses that account for requests, updates and additional documents. A provider portal and ImmiAccount serve different jobs.

If the provider cancels or changes enrolment after a visa application, seek current instructions from the provider and Home Affairs rather than assuming the old CoE remains valid. Do not submit a duplicate visa application merely to replace one document.

What is the next useful step?

Check the current CoE against the Home Affairs checklist and the official evidence tool. Our overseas student-visa source guide keeps admission, enrolment and immigration approval in the right order.

For course selection and entry requirements, continue to the Australian university entry guide; return to Home Affairs for the visa decision and to the provider for the enrolment record.

The same learning habit can travel across subjects, while each subject keeps its own methods. These routes help you notice a difficulty, understand one part of it, and return to something you can do.

A word is familiar, but using it is difficult.

Move from recognising a word to retrieving it in a new context. Understand vocabulary plateaus.

Try it without the guide: Choose one word you already know. Close the guide and use it in a new sentence. Explain why it fits; try another context tomorrow.

Try it without the guide: Choose one short paragraph. Read the relevant explanation, close it, and revise the paragraph. Ask someone to tell you what happened and why.

The Mathematics seems familiar, but marks still disappear.

Try it without the guide: For a Secondary 4 A-Math question you have attempted, locate the first uncertain line. Repair that step, then try a comparable question without the worked answer.

A Science fact is remembered, but the explanation is incomplete.

Connect the evidence to a scientific idea and the resulting change. Follow the Primary Science learning route.

Try it without the guide: Choose a familiar Primary Science example. Explain the evidence, the idea and the result without notes. Then change one condition and explain your prediction.

Two accounts of the world seem to disagree.

Try it without the guide: Take one claim. Find the source best placed to support it, note its date, and state what remains uncertain. Return to your original question.

There is plenty of help, but independence is hard to see.

Check what the learner can understand and do after support is removed. Understand how education works.

Try it without the guide: Choose one small task the child has practised. Agree on a calm, brief attempt without prompts. Use what happens to choose one next step, then stop.
