Where Can Students Send Pearson Edexcel Results to Universities Outside the UK?

Start with Pearson’s official Certificate Services page. Its Confirmation of Provisional Results service is the current student route for sending specified summer Pearson Edexcel results directly to an international university or verification company before the final certificate is available. Read the live service dates and qualification list for your exam series.

For the Summer 2026 cycle, Pearson currently lists GCE, International A Level and GCSE/International GCSE results for this service, with a published window from 6 July to 30 October 2026. The page says not to use it for an earlier exam series, while applications to UK universities normally follow the UCAS route. Check your qualification and destination before paying.

Did you know? “I can see my result” and “the university has official evidence” are different states. ResultsPlus Direct helps participating centres give students a detailed result view; it is not automatically the recipient’s verification route. Ask the university exactly which document or direct transmission it requires.

What should I check before applying?

Name the qualification and exam series

Write the full qualification, subjects, exam session and candidate details exactly as your centre holds them. Pearson’s current provisional-results service is not a generic route for every Pearson award. If the result is from an earlier series, use the replacement-document instructions it identifies.

Separate provisional and final evidence

Ask the university whether it needs provisional confirmation now and the final certificate later. Do not order a provisional-results service when the final certificate has already been issued or when the receiving institution asks for a different official document. Keep both deadlines in your application checklist.

Use the destination’s stated route

A university outside the UK may request a direct Pearson transmission, a certificate upload or institution-led verification. A UK application normally uses UCAS arrangements instead. The destination and application system determine the route; the same result should not be sent through every available service “just in case”.

Keep centre and awarding-body roles clear

Your school or exam centre can confirm candidate details, results access and whether it registered you for ResultsPlus Direct. Pearson controls its official certificate and verification services. The university controls what evidence it accepts. Contact the owner of the missing step instead of asking one organisation to decide another’s policy.

What should I do next?

Ask the university for its exact official-evidence requirement, then follow Pearson’s current page for your exam series. Save the order or verification reference and check the university portal after the expected delivery period. If a certificate is missing, use the existing guide to replacing Pearson Edexcel certificates. Keep the wider application documents together with the university application document guide.
