Where Can Singapore Students Send Official AP Scores to Universities?

Did you know? An AP score visible in your College Board account is not automatically an official score report delivered to a university. Begin at College Board’s Sending AP Scores page. It explains how to designate a university, order an additional report and see what your recipient receives.

If you are taking AP Exams in 2027, College Board currently lists 20 June 2027, 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time as the deadline to nominate one free recipient for that exam year. Other orders can be placed through Send Score Reports Online for a fee. Confirm the current deadline for your examination year before making a choice.

Your immediate decision is whether the institution needs AP scores for an admission review, advanced placement, course credit or a scholarship. The university sets its own rules and document deadline. Send the report to the institution’s correct recipient record rather than assuming the SAT score-send procedure also delivers AP examination results.

Before ordering an official report

Choose the recipient for the right reason

Some universities allow applicants to self-report examination scores during admission and ask for an official result after an offer. Others require official reports earlier or use them to assign first-year credit. Check the actual admissions or registrar’s page for your course and entry year, not another school’s instructions.

The College Board’s score system offers a recipient search. Use the full institutional name or official recipient code, especially where a university has several campuses. Keep its posted deadline in a separate column from your AP exam date.

The score report normally includes your whole AP history

College Board explains that an AP score report contains results from past and current AP Exams, unless permitted withholding or cancellation actions apply. A screenshot showing only the best score does not replicate that report. Before selecting a recipient, review the complete set of AP exams associated with your account.

Withholding and cancellation are different operations, with different consequences; cancellation can be permanent. Use AP Score Reporting Services before taking either action. Do not assume an AP score is sent only if you mention it in a university application.

Free annual recipient versus paid additional sends

Students get a free score send to one recipient in a year when they take AP Exams, subject to College Board’s stated deadline. This recipient receives the report when scores are available. Later or additional sends can require payment, so use the official service rather than unofficial document-ordering websites.

Compare the score-release timeline with the university’s deadline, especially if self-reporting and final official proof have different requirements.

Delivery does not equal university processing

After ordering, College Board’s student portal provides a history of recipients and score-send orders. The university still has to match and process the report to the correct student record. If the university cannot find it, check your candidate details and confirm with its admissions or registrar’s office.

For transfer credit, check the new university’s AP policy. College Board explains that prior AP credit at one university does not automatically transfer as credit to another. The receiving institution decides how its curriculum uses the examination result.

Keep AP distinct from SAT, ACT and the IB Diploma

AP is an individual subject-examination programme. SAT and ACT are different assessment systems, while IB Diploma transcripts are issued by another examining organisation. Sending an SAT score through College Board does not itself certify AP results, and an AP score report does not replace an IB school record.

Your next step

Open the target university’s AP credit or admissions policy, identify its official reporting deadline and recipient name, then use the College Board score-send service. Save the order record and ask the university to confirm processing if required.

Continue to AP Courses, Scores and College Credit for the underlying qualification and credit decisions, or SAT Score-Sending Instructions if the document you need is actually SAT.

The same learning habit can travel across subjects, while each subject keeps its own methods. These routes help you notice a difficulty, understand one part of it, and return to something you can do.

A word is familiar, but using it is difficult.

Move from recognising a word to retrieving it in a new context. Understand vocabulary plateaus.

A Science fact is remembered, but the explanation is incomplete.

Connect the evidence to a scientific idea and the resulting change. Follow the Primary Science learning route.

Try it without the guide: Choose a familiar Primary Science example. Explain the evidence, the idea and the result without notes. Then change one condition and explain your prediction.

Try it without the guide: Take one claim. Find the source best placed to support it, note its date, and state what remains uncertain. Return to your original question.
