Where Can Singapore Students Find Official SAT Score-Sending Instructions?

Use College Board’s official Sending SAT Scores page. It separates SAT Weekend from SAT School Day instructions and links to recipient-code searches. Start with the route matching the test you actually took.

For SAT Weekend, College Board’s step-by-step guide explains account access, institution selection, score selection and order review. Check the receiving college’s requirements too: entering a score in an application is not the same task as requesting an official report.

Your next step is to make one row per recipient with its institution name, code, reporting requirement and deadline. A Singapore applicant should confirm what the college requires for the intended intake before ordering. Do not treat an order confirmation as proof that the institution has already matched the report to your application.

Practical checks before you act

Check the recipient, not just the familiar name

Did you know? Finding the correct institution is a separate checking task from finding your result. Before ordering, compare the recipient’s name and code with the receiving college’s own instructions. A recognisable university name is not enough if its directions identify a particular reporting destination.

Keep the admissions instructions open beside the sending page. If a campus, programme or recipient name is ambiguous, ask the college which destination it uses. Resolving that uncertainty before checkout is more useful than sending to several possible recipients and hoping one is right.

Keep self-reporting and official reporting separate

Use two checklist columns: what you entered in the application, and what you requested from College Board. Record the date of each action. This makes it easier to see whether an outstanding requirement concerns your form, a sending request or the recipient’s processing.

Ask the college when official scores are required if its policy is unclear. Do not assume every institution uses the same stage. A friend may have been allowed to self-report for one application while your intended college requires something different.

Review score selection before placing the order

College Board’s Weekend guidance says institutions may have different policies about which test sittings they want. Check that policy before making a selection. Its guide also distinguishes sending a whole test date’s scores from the way an institution may later combine section results.

Use your actual results record and the recipient’s policy together. Do not create your own composite report or substitute a screenshot for a required official report. If you are uncertain about an older sitting, consult the additional-score guidance linked from the main page.

Plan for delivery and matching

Record the order reference, requested recipients and date. Review the current delivery information rather than assuming instant receipt. Then check the college’s applicant checklist when available, allowing for its own processing and matching procedures.

If the item remains missing near a deadline, contact the college with the application identifier and order details it requests. Ask what evidence or next step it accepts. A rush option, where available, is not a promise that a university will finish processing on a particular day.

Take one question further

The same learning habit can travel across subjects, while each subject keeps its own methods. These routes help you notice a difficulty, understand one part of it, and return to something you can do.

A word is familiar, but using it is difficult.

Move from recognising a word to retrieving it in a new context. Understand vocabulary plateaus.

Try it without the guide: Choose one word you already know. Close the guide and use it in a new sentence. Explain why it fits; try another context tomorrow.

A piece of writing has ideas, but the reader loses the thread.

Make the order of events and the links between sentences clear. Explore composition writing.

Try it without the guide: Choose one short paragraph. Read the relevant explanation, close it, and revise the paragraph. Ask someone to tell you what happened and why.

The Mathematics seems familiar, but marks still disappear.

Find the first point where the working stops being reliable. Find Secondary 4 A-Math mark leakage.

Try it without the guide: For a Secondary 4 A-Math question you have attempted, locate the first uncertain line. Repair that step, then try a comparable question without the worked answer.

A Science fact is remembered, but the explanation is incomplete.

Connect the evidence to a scientific idea and the resulting change. Follow the Primary Science learning route.

Try it without the guide: Choose a familiar Primary Science example. Explain the evidence, the idea and the result without notes. Then change one condition and explain your prediction.

Two accounts of the world seem to disagree.

Check the question, source, date and evidence before combining claims. Explore the World Knowledge research library.

Try it without the guide: Take one claim. Find the source best placed to support it, note its date, and state what remains uncertain. Return to your original question.

There is plenty of help, but independence is hard to see.

Check what the learner can understand and do after support is removed. Understand how education works.

Try it without the guide: Choose one small task the child has practised. Agree on a calm, brief attempt without prompts. Use what happens to choose one next step, then stop.
