The Civilisation Atlas is a reader-facing way to connect people, institutions, infrastructure, production, rules, knowledge and daily life across time.

• What capabilities exist?
• What keeps them working now?
• What dependencies make them fragile?
• How do different observers represent the same system?
• What actions could improve or damage it?

The useful question is not only what a civilisation inherited, but what it can still reliably enact in the present.
