Science Article Directory

eduKateSingapore contains several scientific estates with different jobs. This directory connects them without flattening school Science, scientific inquiry, Learning Manuals, wider scientific worlds, veterinary science, human medicine and tuition information into one undifferentiated list.

Choose the scientific job first. Then enter the smallest owner that can answer it properly.

What this directory owns

This page owns public routing across eduKateSingapore’s Science collections. It does not own every scientific explanation. The Science Learning Library owns school-aligned guides. Science World owns broader mechanisms and disciplinary routes. The Learning Manuals Directory owns navigation across long-form mechanism-and-evidence manuals. Veterinary World owns animal-health systems. Human medicine remains separate. The tuition network owns programme and locality decisions.

That separation lets one real phenomenon appear at different useful resolutions without becoming a collision. A school guide may teach condensation for a Primary learner. A Learning Manual may follow dew point, surface temperature and atmospheric water in greater depth. An Earth-system page may connect the same mechanism to clouds and weather. Each page keeps a different dominant job.

Choose the right Science route

I need to learn a school Science concept

Begin with the Science Learning Library. Its direct published inventory contained 145 guides in the 3 September 2026 scan. It includes the preserved original scaffold, later syllabus-gap repairs and newly indexed additions. Use it for age-appropriate concepts, school progression, misconceptions, scientific explanation and examination-facing reasoning.

For a year-by-year Primary route, continue to the Primary Science Course and Contents. The course route answers “what am I studying now?” while the Science Learning Library answers “which concept or scientific practice do I need?”

I want to understand the wider mechanism

Enter Science World. It had 150 direct published children in the 3 September 2026 inventory receipt, including five scientific-world gateways and many root-level atom, ion, molecule, electron and photon routes. Deeper branches organise hundreds of additional pages without changing their existing URLs.

  • Scientific Inquiry and Evidence — how questions, observations, tests, measurements, models and conclusions become justified knowledge.
  • The Physical World — 213 direct published children across matter, forces, energy, heat, light, sound, electricity, pressure, materials and everyday mechanisms.
  • The Living World — 89 direct published children across cells, physiology, immunity, microbiology, development and biological coordination, plus deeper specialist branches.
  • Earth, Water, Atmosphere and the Celestial World — 25 direct published children across weather, water, geology, oceans, planetary systems and astronomy.
  • How Ecology Works — organisms, populations, food webs, ecosystems, disturbance and recovery.

I need a long-form Learning Manual

Use the eduKate Learning Manuals Directory to choose by scientific world or by the kind of mechanism being explained. The eduKate Science Learning Manual: Instruction Manual explains how students, parents, teachers and tutors should use the longer manuals.

Learning Manuals are useful when a reader needs the mechanism, how we know, model limits, common misconceptions, Primary-to-JC progression, cross-disciplinary connections and a return path into independent explanation.

I need research method or laboratory practice

Living World specialist owners

The Living World contains three deeper owners whose inventories should not be poured back into one enormous root list:

  • Plant World — 128 direct published children across plant structure, signalling, transport, reproduction, adaptation, ecology and evolution.
  • Animal World — 109 direct published children across animal bodies, behaviour, physiology, adaptation, evolution and ecological relationships.
  • Veterinary World — 169 direct published children across animal health, welfare, diagnosis, laboratory interpretation, population medicine, biosecurity and public health.

These counts are direct-child WordPress inventory receipts, not a claim that every child has the same format. Branch owners, reference pages and manuals can coexist inside one owner when their dominant scientific job agrees.

Ownership boundaries

  • Science education: the concept, mechanism, observation or evidence is the main job.
  • Tuition: choosing a programme, teacher, class, locality or form of support is the main job. These routes remain in Singapore Tuition Programmes and Locations even when Science is the subject.
  • Parent support: the adult’s decision, household routine or learner-support action is the main job. These routes remain in the Parent Learning Support Directory.
  • Veterinary science: animal health, welfare, diagnosis or population medicine is the main job. Veterinary World remains distinct from general Animal World and from human medicine.
  • Human medicine: human health systems remain a separate educational route and are not absorbed into Living World.
  • Private research: private ingestion, architecture, proprietary and AI-working pages never enter this public directory.

How the directory stays useful as Science grows

The root directory should remain stable while each owner maintains its own changing inventory. New pages should claim one dominant owner before publication. They may connect laterally to other branches, but a useful connection does not transfer ownership. Counts should be refreshed from published content only, with drafts, private pages and collision mirrors excluded.

For a reader, the route is simple: school concept → Science Learning Library; deeper mechanism → Science World; long-form manual → Learning Manuals Directory; research or practical evidence → Inquiry, Research or Laboratory Practice; support decision → Parent or Tuition owner.

Return routes

Inventory reconciliation — 3 September 2026. The dated 150-item Science World figure above is the scientific-content snapshot taken before these two directory-controller pages were published. Science World now has 152 direct published children when the Science Article Directory and Learning Manuals Directory are included.

Scale models and the limits of a test

Why a working scale model can fail at full size — check geometry, material, loads and operating conditions before extending a miniature’s results to a full-size system.

Slow trials and exclusion decisions

Why deleting the slowest trial can reverse an experiment’s conclusion — distinguish errors from genuine outcomes, justify exclusions and show when removing one observation changes the comparison.

Explore the connected learning guides

Choose the question that brought you here. Open one useful guide, try a small task, and stop when you have what you need.

Take one question further

The same learning habit can travel across subjects, while each subject keeps its own methods. These routes help you notice a difficulty, understand one part of it, and return to something you can do.

A word is familiar, but using it is difficult.

Move from recognising a word to retrieving it in a new context. Understand vocabulary plateaus.

Try it without the guide: Choose one word you already know. Close the guide and use it in a new sentence. Explain why it fits; try another context tomorrow.

A piece of writing has ideas, but the reader loses the thread.

Make the order of events and the links between sentences clear. Explore composition writing.

Try it without the guide: Choose one short paragraph. Read the relevant explanation, close it, and revise the paragraph. Ask someone to tell you what happened and why.

The Mathematics seems familiar, but marks still disappear.

Find the first point where the working stops being reliable. Find Secondary 4 A-Math mark leakage.

Try it without the guide: For a Secondary 4 A-Math question you have attempted, locate the first uncertain line. Repair that step, then try a comparable question without the worked answer.

A Science fact is remembered, but the explanation is incomplete.

Connect the evidence to a scientific idea and the resulting change. Follow the Primary Science learning route.

Try it without the guide: Choose a familiar Primary Science example. Explain the evidence, the idea and the result without notes. Then change one condition and explain your prediction.

Two accounts of the world seem to disagree.

Check the question, source, date and evidence before combining claims. Explore the World Knowledge research library.

Try it without the guide: Take one claim. Find the source best placed to support it, note its date, and state what remains uncertain. Return to your original question.

There is plenty of help, but independence is hard to see.

Check what the learner can understand and do after support is removed. Understand how education works.

Try it without the guide: Choose one small task the child has practised. Agree on a calm, brief attempt without prompts. Use what happens to choose one next step, then stop.

For the structure behind these connections, read the eduKateSingapore runtime manifest and the eduKate ecosystem boot contract. The reader map describes public navigation; those manifests preserve the wider ownership and return rules.
