Start with LSAC’s LSAT Score Preview page. It explains the optional service for viewing your score before deciding whether to keep it for reporting to law schools. Purchase is through JD Services after LSAT registration.
For candidates who purchased the service, LSAC gives six calendar days from score release to decide. Taking no action means the score is kept and released to the law schools to which you have applied. Check the actual account status and deadline, not just the test date.
Did you know? Score Preview does not provide an early score release. The same release conditions apply, including an approved LSAT Argumentative Writing sample and no account holds. Use the separate score-cancellation page to understand the consequences of a cancellation.

Which official source should I use?
| Your question | Official source | What to check |
|---|---|---|

| Which dates apply to my administration? | LSAC: Dates and deadlines | International administration and its detailed deadlines. |
| What happens if I cancel? | LSAC: Score cancellations | With-preview versus without-preview rules and irreversible cancellation. |
| How can I check a purchase status? | LSAC: Score Preview account help | Explanation of the Not activated status before release. |
What should I establish before using Score Preview?
This is a reporting decision, not a re-mark or a way to change the answers from a completed test.
Verify the service for the correct administration
Check the administration attached to your purchase and the status in JD Services. LSAC’s account-help article explains that Not activated can mean the score has not been released yet, rather than that the service was never purchased.
Keep the purchase confirmation with your test record. If the status is unclear, ask LSAC before assuming the option is available. A recollection of selecting something during registration is less useful than the actual service record for the relevant sitting.
Separate the purchase window from the later decision window
The main policy distinguishes buying before testing starts from a specified purchase period after the administration. Its earlier-price deadline is tied to the first test session of the administration, not your personal appointment. Reopen the current page for the charge and exact terms.
Use the international administration details when testing in Singapore, and retain the stated time zone when converting a deadline. The later keep-or-cancel window does not mean you can wait until you see the result before purchasing the service. Resolve purchase eligibility first.
Read the cancellation rule that matches your situation
The cancellation page gives a different rule without Score Preview: cancellation within six calendar days after the test date. Do not substitute that starting point for the preview decision period, or assume the two routes are interchangeable.
LSAC says valid cancellation requests are irreversible and cancelled scores are not refunded. Before confirming, read the account prompt carefully and consider the effect on your application record. This guide locates the rules; it does not recommend keeping or cancelling a particular score.
Consider the record and the next application task
The Score Preview page says a cancellation appears as Candidate Cancel and still counts towards test limits. Cancellation does not make the sitting disappear as though it never happened.
Read each law school’s current testing policy when considering your application. If you plan another attempt, keep that prospective booking separate from the current score decision and the school’s evidence deadline. Save the account confirmation for whichever action you take, rather than relying on an unfinished screen.
What should I do next?
Confirm whether Score Preview was purchased for your administration, then read the current decision deadline and cancellation consequences. Use LSAC for an account uncertainty and the receiving law school for its evidence policy.
For the earlier booking task, use international LSAT dates and scheduling. For preparation, continue with official LSAT practice on LawHub; practice reports are not official LSAT results.
For the wider education journey, continue through the Singapore School Pathways & Calendar collection.
