Where Can Singapore Students Find Free Official GMAT Practice Exams?

Start with GMAC’s GMAT Official Prep Products and Study Resources. Its free Official Starter Kit includes Practice Exams 1 and 2, sample questions and access to the Official Prep platform. This is the Graduate Management Admission Council’s own route, not an unofficial collection of copied questions.

The help article explains how to enter Official Exam Prep, select Access GMAT Official Practice and find the full-length exams in the product menu. Keep its instructions beside the Official Starter Kit page if the shop page does not show the access route clearly.

Did you know? Official GMAT practice exams and practice-question products have different review features. Use the practice-exam guidance before starting: a realistic score check is a different task from studying detailed answer explanations. Neither a mock score nor a completed preparation product is an admission result.

What should I check before starting a GMAT practice exam?

Choose the job first: learn the format, diagnose performance, or work through a particular weakness. You can then choose a resource that actually supports that job.

Use a full exam for a whole-test check

GMAC describes official practice exams as adaptive, with its scoring algorithm and Total and Section results. For a useful personal baseline, set aside an uninterrupted session and record whether you used normal timing, pauses or outside help.

Keep those conditions beside the result. A student who pauses to research a method is doing useful study, but that session should not be compared casually with a continuous attempt. Write down one pacing issue and one content issue to investigate afterwards.

Find explanations in the right kind of product

The current practice-exam help states that answer explanations are not available for GMAT Official Practice Exams. It points learners seeking explanations towards Practice Question products. The resource catalogue separately describes question-bank features and focused practice.

That distinction can prevent an unnecessary purchase. If your question is why a solution works, inspect the review features before choosing a product. If your question is how the complete test feels, use the full-length experience. Do not assume every official resource includes both.

Treat familiar questions differently from fresh questions

GMAC warns that repeated attempts can expose questions you have already seen, affecting how meaningfully the score reflects a new attempt. Its reset instructions also warn that prior responses and question-level performance data are removed, although completed score summaries remain.

Before resetting, review the information you still need and note the mistakes you want to repair. A remembered answer can help with revision, but it is weaker evidence of solving a fresh problem independently. Label repeat attempts clearly in your study record.

Resolve access without buying the same item again

The access guide distinguishes the Official Prep platform from the eBook platform. It explains the purchase-account email, activation codes and product selector. Use the section for your product and edition rather than following an older video for a different resource.

If access is missing, check the original confirmation and the account used for the order, then use GMAC’s support route. Keep score delivery separate: our official GMAT score-sending guide covers the later application-evidence task. For course requirements, return to overseas university application sources.

What should I do next?

Open the free-resource instructions, locate the two free exams, and decide which attempt will be your baseline. After completing it, select one specific weakness for focused study before using another full test. Check the programme’s admissions requirements separately from your preparation plan.

Explore the connected learning guides

Choose the question that brought you here. Open one useful guide, try a small task, and stop when you have what you need.

Take one question further

The same learning habit can travel across subjects, while each subject keeps its own methods. These routes help you notice a difficulty, understand one part of it, and return to something you can do.

A word is familiar, but using it is difficult.

Move from recognising a word to retrieving it in a new context. Understand vocabulary plateaus.

Try it without the guide: Choose one word you already know. Close the guide and use it in a new sentence. Explain why it fits; try another context tomorrow.

A piece of writing has ideas, but the reader loses the thread.

Make the order of events and the links between sentences clear. Explore composition writing.

Try it without the guide: Choose one short paragraph. Read the relevant explanation, close it, and revise the paragraph. Ask someone to tell you what happened and why.

The Mathematics seems familiar, but marks still disappear.

Find the first point where the working stops being reliable. Find Secondary 4 A-Math mark leakage.

Try it without the guide: For a Secondary 4 A-Math question you have attempted, locate the first uncertain line. Repair that step, then try a comparable question without the worked answer.

A Science fact is remembered, but the explanation is incomplete.

Connect the evidence to a scientific idea and the resulting change. Follow the Primary Science learning route.

Try it without the guide: Choose a familiar Primary Science example. Explain the evidence, the idea and the result without notes. Then change one condition and explain your prediction.

Two accounts of the world seem to disagree.

Check the question, source, date and evidence before combining claims. Explore the World Knowledge research library.

Try it without the guide: Take one claim. Find the source best placed to support it, note its date, and state what remains uncertain. Return to your original question.

There is plenty of help, but independence is hard to see.

Check what the learner can understand and do after support is removed. Understand how education works.

Try it without the guide: Choose one small task the child has practised. Agree on a calm, brief attempt without prompts. Use what happens to choose one next step, then stop.
