Where Can I Get Proof of Results After Losing a Cambridge International Certificate?

Start with Cambridge International’s Certificates page if you have lost a Cambridge International examination certificate or need another official record of your results. It directs candidates to the certifying-statement application rather than asking them to recreate a certificate.

Check the awarding body, examination series and year first. Cambridge International qualifications are not the same administrative route as Singapore’s PSLE or Singapore-Cambridge GCE results. For those Singapore examinations, use the existing SEAB past-results guide instead.

Did you know? Recovering proof of a result and having a university verify a result are different tasks. Before ordering, ask the recipient which service and delivery method it needs. Cambridge’s results services for universities explains the available verification and documentation routes.

Practical checks before you act

Read the qualification name before choosing a service

Find an old result email, school record or application copy that identifies the awarding body. Write down the examination series as well as the year: a June sitting and a November sitting are not interchangeable. If you sat examinations at more than one centre, keep the records separated.

The word Cambridge on its own is not enough to choose a retrieval route. Tell your former school or examinations centre the full qualification name if you are uncertain. This small check can save you from paying for a service that does not hold the record you need.

Ask for official evidence, not a homemade replacement

Cambridge describes a certifying statement as official evidence of the grades achieved in a particular examination series. Its Certificates page explains which results appear on that statement and links the application process. Read those conditions before assuming one order will combine every sitting.

An electronic statement of results received around results day is also different from the final certificate. Cambridge’s examinations-officer guidance explains that certificates confirm final results. If your certificate has simply not arrived at school yet, ask the school about collection before treating it as a lost historical document.

Match the order to the receiving institution

Cambridge says universities and other academic organisations can apply to verify recent results through Cambridge International Direct. That service is for the receiving organisation; it is not an invitation to obtain somebody else’s institutional login. Ask admissions whether it can use this route.

For older results or cases outside online verification, the university guidance identifies another verification process. If you have lost the certificate, the certifying-statement route may be the relevant starting point. Explain your actual document situation so the recipient can identify the appropriate evidence.

Check identity, destination and processing conditions

Use the application linked from Cambridge’s own page, and prepare the identifying details requested there. Confirm the recipient’s exact name and delivery details before submitting. Cambridge allows a certifying statement to be sent to the candidate or directly to a public institution under its published process.

A correction to personal details is not the same as losing a certificate. Cambridge’s Certificates page distinguishes amendment requests and directs recent cases through the original centre. Read that section if a name or date is wrong, rather than expecting an ordinary order to resolve the discrepancy automatically.

Your next step

Ask the recipient: “Do you need a certifying statement, online verification or another specified record for this examination series?” Then follow the matching Cambridge route, check the current fee and processing terms, and retain your application reference. Leave time for the service rather than promising an unconfirmed delivery date.

A word is familiar, but using it is difficult.

Move from recognising a word to retrieving it in a new context. Understand vocabulary plateaus.

Try it without the guide: For a Secondary 4 A-Math question you have attempted, locate the first uncertain line. Repair that step, then try a comparable question without the worked answer.

A Science fact is remembered, but the explanation is incomplete.

Connect the evidence to a scientific idea and the resulting change. Follow the Primary Science learning route.

Try it without the guide: Choose a familiar Primary Science example. Explain the evidence, the idea and the result without notes. Then change one condition and explain your prediction.

Try it without the guide: Take one claim. Find the source best placed to support it, note its date, and state what remains uncertain. Return to your original question.
