Three students in school uniforms work through open books at a classroom table, with textbooks and stationery nearby and study notes on the whiteboard behind them.

Where Can Singapore Students Find Norwegian University Application Information?

Start with Study in Norway’s bachelor’s and master’s entry requirements and the admissions page for your chosen programme. The national guide is maintained by Norway’s Directorate for Higher Education and Skills; the institution gives the application route and course-specific conditions.

For undergraduate admission, the guide points to the Higher Education Entrance Qualification, or GSU, and its country list. Check the entry for your qualification and read any additional programme requirements. For a master’s application, use the separate degree and subject-background requirements rather than treating the undergraduate route as sufficient.

Did you know the language of the programme changes the evidence you may need? Study in Norway distinguishes English-taught degrees from study in Norwegian and directs applicants to the relevant language rules. Confirm the teaching language, accepted evidence and application deadline for the actual course before preparing documents.

Practical checks before you act

Match the course and the qualification

Record institution, degree title, teaching language, study start and the exact qualification you are presenting. Use the official country guidance where applicable, then ask admissions about any unclear equivalence. General entrance eligibility does not replace a programme’s additional requirements.

Find the institution’s submission instructions

Open the course’s application page and confirm where to apply for your applicant category. Copy the dates and document instructions into one checklist. Do not assume that a portal used for another degree level or another applicant will handle your application.

Prepare language evidence deliberately

The national guide says English evidence requirements may differ by institution and programme. Ask about accepted evidence and any exemption before booking a test. For Norwegian-taught study, read the official Norwegian proficiency instructions instead of assuming an English qualification settles the language requirement.

Check funding and arrival with current sources

Record the institution’s current fee information and the official sources for residence arrangements relevant to you. Keep application, funding and immigration tasks separate. Avoid planning from an old claim that every public university course is free for every international applicant.

Your next step

Choose one programme, read its entry and application pages, and check your qualification against the relevant official guidance. Ask admissions to clarify the first uncertain requirement.

Take one question further

The same learning habit can travel across subjects, while each subject keeps its own methods. These routes help you notice a difficulty, understand one part of it, and return to something you can do.

A word is familiar, but using it is difficult.

Move from recognising a word to retrieving it in a new context. Understand vocabulary plateaus.

Try it without the guide: Choose one word you already know. Close the guide and use it in a new sentence. Explain why it fits; try another context tomorrow.

A piece of writing has ideas, but the reader loses the thread.

Make the order of events and the links between sentences clear. Explore composition writing.

Try it without the guide: Choose one short paragraph. Read the relevant explanation, close it, and revise the paragraph. Ask someone to tell you what happened and why.

The Mathematics seems familiar, but marks still disappear.

Find the first point where the working stops being reliable. Find Secondary 4 A-Math mark leakage.

Try it without the guide: For a Secondary 4 A-Math question you have attempted, locate the first uncertain line. Repair that step, then try a comparable question without the worked answer.

A Science fact is remembered, but the explanation is incomplete.

Connect the evidence to a scientific idea and the resulting change. Follow the Primary Science learning route.

Try it without the guide: Choose a familiar Primary Science example. Explain the evidence, the idea and the result without notes. Then change one condition and explain your prediction.

Two accounts of the world seem to disagree.

Check the question, source, date and evidence before combining claims. Explore the World Knowledge research library.

Try it without the guide: Take one claim. Find the source best placed to support it, note its date, and state what remains uncertain. Return to your original question.

There is plenty of help, but independence is hard to see.

Check what the learner can understand and do after support is removed. Understand how education works.

Try it without the guide: Choose one small task the child has practised. Agree on a calm, brief attempt without prompts. Use what happens to choose one next step, then stop.
