Three students in school uniforms work through open books at a classroom table, with textbooks and stationery nearby and study notes on the whiteboard behind them.

Where Can I Find Parents Gateway Information? | Access, Singpass Login and School Support

Start with the official Parents Gateway help centre for access, login and app-use questions, then use Parents Gateway itself to sign in. If the issue concerns a particular notice, consent form, child profile or school arrangement, contact the school named in the app because the school owns that information.

Check three things immediately: whether your child’s institution is covered, whether you are recognised as a parent, legal guardian or authorised caregiver, and whether your Singpass account is working. The official eligibility answer currently covers MOE kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, junior colleges, Millennia Institute, Temasek Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic and some special education schools.

Did you know the fastest route is often to separate an identity problem from a school-data problem? Singpass access belongs on the login route; missing children, custody or access changes, and school-specific messages belong with the school. People who cannot obtain Singpass, including some foreigners living overseas, should ask the school for an alternative communication arrangement.

Use the official help centre for rules and troubleshooting

The official help centre is the cleanest starting point because it separates access, login and everyday app questions. Read the current answer rather than relying on an old screenshot: participating institutions and app steps can change. The official access answer also explains who can use the service and what to do when Singpass is unavailable.

Parents Gateway is a communication channel, not an independent admissions or immigration authority. A place in a school does not by itself settle immigration permission, and app access does not create parental or custodial rights.

Use the school when the record itself is wrong

If a child is missing, the relationship shown is incorrect, custody or authorised-caregiver arrangements have changed, or a school notice needs clarification, write down the exact child, screen and message before contacting the school. That gives staff something specific to check and avoids sending personal details through unofficial channels.

For learning-platform access rather than parent communications, use our separate guide to Singapore Student Learning Space information. These systems solve different problems and may use different credentials.

Your next step

Open the official help topic that matches your problem and note the current instruction. If the instruction points to the school, send one concise message containing the child’s name, class, your relationship to the child and the exact screen or notice involved. For wider planning, use the Singapore school pathways and calendar collection.

Take one question further

The same learning habit can travel across subjects, while each subject keeps its own methods. These routes help you notice a difficulty, understand one part of it, and return to something you can do.

A word is familiar, but using it is difficult.

Move from recognising a word to retrieving it in a new context. Understand vocabulary plateaus.

Try it without the guide: Choose one word you already know. Close the guide and use it in a new sentence. Explain why it fits; try another context tomorrow.

A piece of writing has ideas, but the reader loses the thread.

Make the order of events and the links between sentences clear. Explore composition writing.

Try it without the guide: Choose one short paragraph. Read the relevant explanation, close it, and revise the paragraph. Ask someone to tell you what happened and why.

The Mathematics seems familiar, but marks still disappear.

Find the first point where the working stops being reliable. Find Secondary 4 A-Math mark leakage.

Try it without the guide: For a Secondary 4 A-Math question you have attempted, locate the first uncertain line. Repair that step, then try a comparable question without the worked answer.

A Science fact is remembered, but the explanation is incomplete.

Connect the evidence to a scientific idea and the resulting change. Follow the Primary Science learning route.

Try it without the guide: Choose a familiar Primary Science example. Explain the evidence, the idea and the result without notes. Then change one condition and explain your prediction.

Two accounts of the world seem to disagree.

Check the question, source, date and evidence before combining claims. Explore the World Knowledge research library.

Try it without the guide: Take one claim. Find the source best placed to support it, note its date, and state what remains uncertain. Return to your original question.

There is plenty of help, but independence is hard to see.

Check what the learner can understand and do after support is removed. Understand how education works.

Try it without the guide: Choose one small task the child has practised. Agree on a calm, brief attempt without prompts. Use what happens to choose one next step, then stop.
