Did you know? MOE CourseFinder helps you explore polytechnic courses, but the polytechnic’s own course and admissions pages complete the picture. Start with the directory, then check the institution for current requirements and application instructions.
Your qualification determines which application route you need to investigate. MOE’s admissions overview explains the available exercises; do not assume JAE, EAE, DAE or another route applies to every applicant in the same way.
Record five things before shortlisting: the intended intake, your qualification, the exact course code, the published entry requirements and the application route. CourseFinder currently distinguishes information for entry before 2028, so post-SEC applicants should also check the guidance for their own intake.

Explore courses across the five polytechnics
Use the directory to compare Singapore Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic, Nanyang Polytechnic and Republic Polytechnic. Follow the official institution links to the courses that interest you.
Similar names do not necessarily mean identical modules or learning experiences. Compare the course structure, projects and specialisations described by each institution rather than assuming the title tells the whole story.
Separate eligibility from competitiveness
A minimum requirement tells you whether an application can be considered under the stated rules. Historical admission information describes an earlier outcome. Neither should be read as a guarantee for a future exercise.
Read the exact course’s requirements as well as the overall route. Where relevant, check specified subjects, other course conditions and any additional assessment. Use the official admissions page when advice elsewhere simplifies the rule.
Use EAE information for the right task
If an early admissions route interests you, read that exercise’s current guidance and the institution’s instructions. Work out what evidence of interest or suitability is requested and what conditions attach to any offer.
Prepare truthful examples of your own work and interests. The purpose of a portfolio or conversation is to make your suitability understandable, not to collect decorative achievements unrelated to the course.
Confirm the year and the course code
Check that the course code, entry requirements and application exercise refer to the same intake. When planning for 2028 or later, do not copy pre-2028 CourseFinder information into a confirmed post-SEC plan.
Before submission, revisit the official application page and follow its current checklist. Save the submission acknowledgement and review the published outcome and acceptance instructions.
