Story

Once upon a time, in a deep forest lived a rattlesnake named Rattie. Rattie was not like other rattlesnakes, he loved to shake his tail when he was happy. Unlike other snakes, he didn’t use his rattle to warn people off, but to express his joy.

One day, while Rattie was happily shaking his tail, a group of people came into the forest. They saw Rattie shaking his tail and immediately thought that he was warning them off. They were terrified and ran away as fast as they could. Rattie was confused and sad that his joyful tail-shaking had scared people away.

The next day, Rattie tried to make friends with the other animals in the forest, but they were all afraid of him. They had also heard about the incident with the people and thought that Rattie was dangerous. Rattie became lonely and sad, as he was not able to express his happiness through tail-shaking anymore.

One day, a wise old owl came to visit Rattie. The owl explained to Rattie that the people and the other animals were afraid of him because they misunderstood him. The owl suggested that Rattie should try to communicate in a different way, maybe through dance or song.

Rattie thought about the owl’s suggestion and decided to give it a try. He began to dance around joyfully and sing happy songs. The other animals in the forest were surprised and delighted to see Rattie so happy. They realized that he was not dangerous, but just a joyful rattlesnake.

Slowly but surely, Rattie made new friends in the forest. They learned to understand him and his unique way of expressing his happiness. Rattie was no longer lonely and sad, but instead joyful and surrounded by friends who appreciated him for who he was.

From that day on, Rattie continued to dance and sing joyfully, spreading his infectious happiness throughout the forest. And the people who had once been afraid of him, eventually learned the truth and came to enjoy Rattie’s joyful tail-shaking too.
