Our Primary Tutorials
What we do in class and how we do it. Learn in a fun, enjoyable high tech environment during our English, Mathematics and Science Tutorials in small groups. Within these lessons, we teach from scratch, practice with our students and finally give them tests to do individually to help them gauge their mastery of the topic.
Closing the loop, as we round up the semester and nearing examinations, we will be working on past year papers to help our students to acclimatise themselves to the requirements of their examinations. Tuition for English, Mathematics and Science are scheduled for minimum disruption moving through the years and our classes are designed to foster camaraderie between classmates.

Our Secondary Tutorials
What we teach in class for our secondary students. Understanding the topics that can be difficult to understand in school, clarity in purpose is the way we teach our English, Additional Mathematics, Elementary Mathematics and Science in small groups. Lessons will be individually tailored to help with progress maximisation and by keeping our classes small, our reach is made simpler and learning is effective.
Our tutors work with students to be adept at their school work, mastering the topics before school teaches it. Helps a lot when they go to school with confidence coursing through their veins, and get home to attempt homework with lowered trepidation. The making of successful students is to have mentors that guide the way. We dish out that out by the truckload, guiding students with a fervour, giving advice and showing as much tips and tricks to help students go that extra mile.

Our Lives
What we do out of class and a glimpse into our lives, as requested by you. Always wondering what we do out of class seems to be the main thing our students (and their parents) seem to ask a lot, and rightfully so, since we are teaching them to be the best version of themselves. We do quite a bit of prep work, checking up on students progress and have our trips to the shops and some bites. So are we the best version of ourselves? Find our for yourself.

Our List
Download a list of materials that we use in class.
We do have a slight kiasu mentality and we do want to do really well tutoring our students, so we use all these materials to aid in our workflow and provide our students an easy access to the materials we teach, all conveniently located here. Compiled to be the best and finest work you can find for effective and efficient learning using the latest MOE’s syllabus.

“It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s just that I stay with problems longer.”
–Albert Einstein
With our lessons based on this phrase from Albert Einstein, we make sure our students commit to working on problems longer than the next best player to get the results needed. All successes come from focussing our time and finally reach the end with the right conclusion. Gumption to start doing something about it, tenacity to stick with it to the end and keep going until we gain enlightenment. It builds the right character and the much needed winning mentality into our students. Our lessons engineered to inculcate the process of continuously learning new things, get the correct answers and repeated achieving success that will be laid down in their neural pathways and eventually becoming a habit for the rest of their lives.
“Chains of Habit Are Too Light to Be Felt Until They Are Too Heavy to Be Broken”
Warren Buffett.
Indeed, much of the same can be said about failures, letting it become one’s bad habit seem to be easier than acquiring a good one. And that is why we will straighten out our students whenever they are in our classes, weeding out bad habits and seeding right ideas by teaching them the right study skills/life skills to help them be the best version of themselves. Getting onto the right track is half the battle won, having the right attitude, seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and working towards the goals set, all this makes for a strong individual that can handle all the stresses in the world.
“The highest activity a human being can attain is learning for understanding, because to understand is to be free.”
Baruch Spinoza
Now, that is how we separate the winners from the losers, the ability to pick ourselves up by the bootstraps, dust ourselves off, go back to the drawing board and come back stronger than ever. Never stop trying and giving everything a good go without admitting defeat should be a good habit taught early in life, and in edu|Kate Tuition Centre, we get our students to be their best.
