What: Get your coffee, sit inside in a cool air con cafe, or alfresco outside next to Botanic Gardens MRT. Great place to meet friends or after a walk in Botanic Gardens. Also, shop for groceries at Cold Storage 10 steps away. Parking downstairs with 2 basement levels, rather tight lots.
Their POS systems and front of office looks inviting and has a well managed queue with short to medium waiting time. Acceptable even at the busiest times.The salted egg croissant is “localised” and does a good job at being yummy and yet light and fluffy. Again, that $6.90 price is very much location based price and raises some eyebrows.da Paolo Donuts? These are really rich, very tasty cream filled donuts that goes quite well at tea time.
Bread Counter at Gastonomia da Paolo at $1.40 to $4“Pizza” slices at approx $8.00. The consistency of the base isn’t very pizza-ish and more bread-ish. As it is made-to-go, it doesn’t have the pop of a fresh from oven pizza slice, so for $8.00, it is definitely location based pricing than quality pricing here.

A feel good cafe with friendly staff and good selection of tasty food.Basically walk up and ask any staff available, and get served immediately, unless they have to get the kitchen to cook it or the coffee to be brewed
Coffee is very good, and food comes slightly off tandem but there’s a number for staff to figure out where to serveFacing the main road of Bukit Timah, where traffic is busy and noisy. However, the decor is inviting which helps attracting and bringing in lots of customers all the time.Seating indoors are air-con, good for tête-à-tête and people watchItalian pasta is cooked in the kitchen and served to you if you don’t pick from the counters.Its not a bad effort and does it well enough to get us going back.The second entrance is within the property and opens to a supermarket and lifts to the basement carparkOne for tea, alfresco dining and its a good life.
