The historical URL remains, but current Primary 4 Science information now lives in a smaller set of canonical rooms.
What survived from the 2019 model
- Small-group teaching remained central.
- Understanding still matters more than memorising isolated facts.
- Students still need to explain scientific reasoning clearly.
- The tutor still needs enough visibility to identify individual misunderstanding.
What changed
The old page treated Primary Science mainly as a large quantity of knowledge to cover. The current architecture gives Primary 4 a much more precise job.
Primary 4 is the Connection Year.
The learner should increasingly connect:
- Part → function → whole system;
- Condition → process → result;
- Observation → inference;
- Diagram → scientific relationship;
- Concept → changed example;
- Internal idea → precise scientific explanation.
