Story

Once upon a time, in a small town, there lived a little coin named Penny. Penny was very shy and timid, always hiding inside a bifold wallet. She was afraid of the courageous Dollar who was always peeping out of the wallet, raring to go and be spent by its owner.

Penny had always been envious of the Dollar’s bravery and adventurous spirit. She longed to be as fearless as the Dollar, but she just couldn’t seem to summon the courage.

One day, as Penny was hiding in the wallet, she overheard a conversation between the Dollar and their owner. The owner was explaining how he had saved up for months to buy a new bike that he had been dreaming of.

As the owner pulled out the Dollar to pay for the bike, Penny saw a look of fear in the Dollar’s eyes. Suddenly realizing Dollar will no longer be in the comfort of its wallet Dollar wondered what will happen to it. But despite the fear, Dollar bravely faced the challenge and was spent.

Penny realized in that moment that it wasn’t about being fearless, but about facing your fears and doing what needs to be done. She decided to summon her courage and join the Dollar in the outside world.

From that day on, Penny would often peek out of the wallet and explore the world with the Dollar. She would still feel afraid at times, but she would remind herself that courage was not the absence of fear, but rather the willingness to act despite it.
