The heuristic tutorial classes described here began with fundamentals, then moved into more advanced problem sums. The aim was to identify where students became confused, explain the underlying logic and give enough carefully selected practice for learners to attempt the work increasingly by themselves.
Tutors and programme structure in the earlier period
The Primary Mathematics course documented on this page followed the MOE/PSLE syllabus applicable in 2017. Topics ranged from Primary Mathematics multiple-choice work to problem sums for Primary 1–6.
