Definition Lock (V1.1)

Primary Science OS converts concept learning into scoring reliability by stabilising: concept cores, keywords, explanation structure, and application under unfamiliar scenarios.

What mastery actually is (P3)

P3 in Primary Science means the student can:

  • explain concepts clearly with correct causal links,
  • apply ideas to new scenarios (transfer),
  • answer in the marking scheme’s language (keywords + structure),
  • stay consistent across topics and papers.

Top 6 failure modes

  1. Keyword mismatch (knows idea but loses marks for missing required phrasing)
  2. Explanation structure failure (“because…” chain broken; no mechanism)
  3. Concept mixing / misconceptions (wrong causal model)
  4. Application failure (cannot transfer to unfamiliar contexts)
